Check valves are designed to prevent back flow.
Dixon: Disc style check valve made of stainless steel. Used primarily for fluids with little or no solids. Minimum pressure required to open valve is 5 psi.
Carlsen: Ball style check valve, stainless steel “Y” body. Uses an EPDM ball with clamp style cleaning cap. Designed for fluids that contain solids.
